Discipline 2: Leadership Team Holiness & Health

Initial Goals

  • Establish a leadership team of key staff and/or volunteers that help set a vision and carry out strategic action.

  • Have a shared encounter with Christ and regularly pray together.

  • Have effective and productive meetings.

Ongoing Principles

  • Continually reacquire a Biblical worldview, praying to see your parish as Christ sees it.

  • Be Reconfigured to Jesus for Mission.   Nurture the characteristics of Trust, Healthy Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Attention to Fruit/Outcomes

  • Give God the Initiative – become a praying and discerning team.
