Each active deacon in the Diocese of Toledo is required to attend an annual retreat of at least 3 days and document attendance. In addition, each deacon is required to accumulate at least 24 contact hours of Continuing Formation every two years (currently, it would be the sum of all contact hours for 2026 and 2027) and document attendance to remain in Good Standing. The links below should be used to submit Continuing Formation and Retreat information to document activity in 2026 and 2027.
To download the full policy for CF and Retreats for Deacons, distributed in 2017, explaining which activities are allowable for each, click HERE (or consult the newly-revised Deacon Handbook and Policy Manual, 2026).
Any questions about submitting this information should be directed to Deacon Dan Brahier, Delegate for Permanent Deacons, at dbrahier@toledodiocese.org.
